Presentation
Join us for a conversation with the authors of Manual de Derecho del Arte (Art Law Handbook), edited by Yolanda Bergel Sainz de Baranda, Rafael Sánchez Aristi, and Sara Martín Salamanca. The book is an introductory handbook on Art Law, a legal discipline still taking shape that combines rules of both public and private law to govern everything relating to works of art.
The handbook offers a clear and systematic overview of subjects such as the protection of artistic creation (intellectual property and copyright), the national and international circulation of artworks, taxation, art market contracts, the role of its key players, and offences against cultural heritage.
