Anna O’Connell

President and founder of ADA. She is a lawyer and guest lecturer in art law at the London School of Economics, where she was appointed Visiting Fellow in 2008. She previously lectured at Sotheby's Institute of Art, practised at the London law firm Stephenson Harwood, and served as Expert Advisor to the UK's Minister for Culture on immunity from seizure for cultural objects on temporary loan. She is an International Trustee of the Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation and holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Dublin and a postgraduate diploma in Asian Art History from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Isabel Taylor

Event Coordinator at ADA. Former curatorial assistant at TBA21 (Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary) and at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. Holds an MA in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture from the Museo Reina Sofía and Universidad Complutense.

Alejandro Vergara

Board Member of ADA. Head of the Flemish Painting collection at the Museo Nacional del Prado. PhD from NYU's Institute of Fine Arts; former professor at UC San Diego and Columbia. His doctoral research focused on Rubens and Spain.

Juan Várez Benegas

Board Member of ADA. Collector and former President of Christie's Spain. Holds a Master's in Early European Painting from the Courtauld Institute. Has taught Art and the Market at IE Business School and Instituto IArt. Board member of Fundación ARCO and Fundación Museo ABC.

Rosina Gómez Baeza

Board Member of ADA. Internationally recognised cultural manager who led ARCO, Spain's flagship art fair, for twenty years. Founding director of the 1st Biennial of Art, Architecture and Landscape of the Canary Islands, and former President of the Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo.

Lucía Ybarra

Board Member of ADA. Managing partner and co-founder of YGBART Art Management and Advisory. Previously spent 16 years at the Museo Reina Sofía as Head of Exhibitions, and served as Vice-President of Factoría Cultural, a Madrid creative industries incubator.
